Fiji continues to
get taller, longer, deeper
and wider throughout this year, and we can't wait to see what
another year will do for her in the maturity department.
Her mammary system is well attached & globular, strong in medial
& teat placement. One of the things about her that is so
impressive is her smoothness of blending - starting at her neck
& shoulders and then all the way through. Both on the move
and at rest, everything works together like a beautiful, well
designed & molded dairy goat.
We were very
pleased at her scores last year on appraisal. She was a
VG86 (VV+V) as a yearling milker, and then moved right up the
bar to be an EX91 (VEVE) as a two year old. With her EX91,
milking over 2000 lbs. this year, and continuing to grow &
mature every day we believe Fiji has quite a future.
Unfortunately she
did not kid in 2010, so we are really looking forward to this
year's freshening to see what she can accomplish now.
