WOW! Stormy has had quite
a year as a baby! When she was born I was SURE that she was a
buck kid she was so BIG. I might be exaggerating just a bit,
but I swear she was almost as big as her mother when she was born!
Yet another doe kid that is strong in both phenotype & genotype on
both sides of her pedigree, this line bred individual has all
potential in the world!
Her strengths in general
appearance & dairy character, evidenced by her long, flat bone
pattern and openness & angularity, along with her size & scale
have made her very competitive in the show ring. We were
thrilled to see her stand 1st in her class and be named Jr. Champion
at the 2009 ADGA National Show, the same
year that both her dam Aquafina & her granddam Evian stood first in
their class too! We kept this long tall girl dry in 2010 and
are expecting her to be an impressive two year old first freshener
in 2011!

Shastina is a very large framed,
angular, extremely correct yearling. She's incredibly strong
in dairy character with that strong boned - open ribbed - angularity
to the extreme that we see in the Brazil daughters. She has
had a very precocious mammary system that shows evidence a future
beautiful udder for the future. Shastina had a strong show
season earning her dry leg early on, with multiple first place wins
as well. She capped the year off with a 1st place Sr. Yearling
and Jr. GCH at the California State Fair.
Thank you Claire Pella for the purchase of Shastina!

be a beautiful and competitive kid for us! Toronto babies
are consistently strong in general appearance, especially feet &
legs. Her dam Pepsi One appraised EX90 as a 2nd freshening

milk in a shortened lactation this year.

very correct kid. Her dam Smoothie has one of the most
beautiful mammary systems in the herd winning Reserve Best Udder

produced numerous growthy, correct does for us, and coming out

Vancouver was a fancy dry
yearling for 2011. She easily earned her dry leg at the
first show of the year and was Jr. Champion at both of our
fairs. A single "child" tiny bit of a baby out
of a monster of a dam...we weren't sure that Vancouver was going
to ever grow into herself. We kept her....and
waited....and watched....and she did...grow that is! While
she's not a large doe she is so very correct! She's sharp,
smooth, and angular...

What can you say about this
pretty little girl with the earring wattles and cute as heck
face????? We didn't keep lots of LaMancha doe kids this year,
but the ones we did are pretty special! Misnomer is very
correct in general appearance, level & long, very smooth
blended...strong on her feet legs. She'll be a dry
yearling for 2011.

Premier Sire at the
ADGA National Show in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and
2008. Tumult has proven
to be a very successful and consistent buck for us. John White and Eric Jermain shared him with us back in
October 1997....he’s still here...and always will be. What John & Eric have done for the LaMancha breed in
these beautiful One Oak Hill LaManchas is something to be in awe
of. Their contribution of these beautiful animals, including
Tumult, Tuzla, Tumbleweed, Diva, Jurupa,
Jrupual, Jrupent, Tada, Talpa, Tullia, ....the
list goes on and on. These
animals...and their offspring...are but a very humble
recognition of the instincts and dedication these men put into
their breeding program.....and have so positively affected the
LaMancha breed. Thank
you once again.
Tumult has given us so many wonderful does - both productive and
competitive - high in production...high in appraisal....high
placing in the show ring. Across

Hemingway, now owned in conjunction with the
Suenram’s of Becca’s LaManchas is an impressive buck. He’s large, long, tall and powerful with tremendous
angularity. His dam
Hesba was one of our very favorite of the ME’s Ranch does -
she carried great general appearance and correctness overall. Hemingway’s daughters include our

Yet another Hemingway daughter that is quite nice is Becca’s
Tuscany (a daughter of GCH One Oak Hill Medicine Tuzla 2002 ADGA

would have used him more this year, but he wasn’t settling
does as we’d hoped. We did keep a son of Hemingway for our use
as a Jr. Herdsire Deviant (a son of Diva), and used him on
several of our does the past couple of years.

well on our Tumult daughters - even though he himself is 2x
Tumult. He’s a very correct buck overall - strong in all those
structural categories, as are his daughters. While they take a bit of time to mature - they freshen
well, and keep growing. Several
of his daughters have appraised 85 as yearlings or first
fresheners...by the time they are 3 they seem to be appraising
EX90 and EX91. Just
have a bit of patience! His
2004 Sr. Get was 2nd pl. at the National Show (Zima,
Crush, Bad News) behind our 1st. Pl. Tumult Sr. Get. At the 2004 Sonoma County Fair, the Attitude girls were
first AHEAD of Tumult’s group - we know he was proud! His daughter
SGCH Kastdemur’s Bad News 4*M EX92 was 1st/2nd
udder 3 yr. Old at the 2004 ADGA National Show, GCH LaMancha at
the Sonoma County Fair, and was GCH & Best Udder and BUIS at
the 2004 CA State Fair. Another daughter, GCH Kastdemur’s Orange Crush 4*M EX90 was
3rd pl. 2 yr. Old at the National Show, with GCH
Kastdemur’s Zima standing 7th in that same class. Other daughters include Kastdemur’s Arrogance VG88
(VEVV),
and GCH Kastdemur’s Kadina 4*M (our 2002 Colorama nominee) who
has been named Best LaMancha Udder and has won Reserve CH awards
already this year. As
we get to 2005, we can see these does maturing! At the 2005 ADGA National Show, Bad Attitudes’ daughters
were 1st place Sr. Get of Sire (including Zima,
Crush, Bad News). Bad
News was 1st place in her class as a 4 yr. old, Crush
was 3rd in her class, and Zima was 11th
place. They’ve
all appraised EX as mature does! Younger daughters include Kastdemur’s Cazillion who was
1st place Jr. Kid at the 2005 Nationals and was
named Reserve Jr. Champion. Another daughter, Kastdemur’s Celebrity Gossip was 4th
pl. Sr. Kid in the Recorded Grade section at the National Show
this year. She was
Jr. Champion at both of our local fairs (Sonoma & CA State
Fairs). Bad Attitude was sold to Dene Engeman in 2007.<

Toronto comes from two lines that we so
appreciate - the One Oak Hill animals, bringing in Talpa and
Tumbleweed....and of course, the Hogg’s Hideaway girls! We have always admired these does, their
upstandingness,
stretch, angularity, productivity and correctness. And you just can’t miss that they have been such a
strong dam line - with Chimera appraising EX91 and being
National Champion twice, with her daughter Casmira appraising
EX92 and National Champion, and her other daughter CA-Zing
appraise EX and becoming National Champion. These does are impressive, and consistent, and we’re hoping
that using Toronto will bring even more strength of type to our
herd of LaManchas. His two Recorded Grade kids from our herd
were 1st & 2nd in their class at the
2005 ADGA National Show. Yet another daughter
Kastdemur's Cosmo was 1st pl. Sr. Yrlg. & 2006 ADGA Reserve
Jr. Champion Recorded Grade. Another daughter, Vanuatu, was
1st place Sr. Yearling at the Nationals in 2006. One
of his 2008 daughters Calistoga was 1st place Int. Kid
and 2008 ADGA National Junior Champion.
The mammary systems
on his daughters are high, wide, well attached and everything
we've expected them to be. We appreciate the long bone
patterns that we are seeing in our Toronto offspring. Toronto's first two
daughters to freshen in our herd appraised VG87 and VG88 as
first fresheners!!! Vanuatu, in 2008, appraised EX93 (EEEE).
In 2009 his daughter Fiji appraised EX91 as a two year old 2nd
freshener, Citronella appraised EX90, and daughter DewBe appraised VG88 as a 1st freshener.
What we see with
Toronto is an improvement in general appearance, correctness in
front end, feet & legs and strength in levelness and
flatness of rumps thurl to thurl. Teat size &
placement is also improved over dams consistently. The one
thing you need to do though in working with Toronto, is be
patient. They are generally slower to mature, and don't
milk tons the first freshening. We've seen dramatic
improvement in the 2nd lactation on his daughters - so don't be
so quick to rush to judgement!

We long
admired Betty, Brazil's dam as a beautiful doe standing right
with our very own Mt. Dew at so many National Shows. She
was a very correct individual with a beautifully shaped udder with
outstanding teat placement. To be able to bring her son
into our herd was exciting to us. Much more so when we saw
his paternal Granddam Exie place 1st pl. 5/6 yr. old LaMancha at
the 2006 National Show, and again saw Betty place 2nd in her
class that year (for the 3rd successive time).....she's consistent and we
really appreciate her beauty. Our kids out of this buck,
including our Spotlight Sale Buck, Slice of Life, have been
impressive. They are without a doubt, long, tall, correct
and growthy kids, we couldn't be happier. This year
Brazil's oldest daughter Bohemia appraised EX92 (EEEE) as a 3
year old, another in Southern California in the High Tor herd
finished her Championship (with two BIS wins!) and appraised
EX91, and Behave Yourself appraised EX90 with an Excellent
mammary system and placed 1st at the 2009 Nationals in the 3
year old class. His son "Watcher", one of our
herdsires had 1st place Jr.
Get at the Nationals in 2008!! Watcher daughters
have also freshened with strongly attached, correct mammary
systems that are extremely competitive both locally and
nationally. We are also seeing solid strong production in
these udders too!

yearling milker - and we’re hoping that’s what we’ll see
in his daughters as well!

After seeing our
beautiful Make7UpYours freshen, we couldn't have been more
pleased at being offered the opportunity, by Tammy Tullar of
Autumn Acres, to bring her sire's
full brother into our herd. We really wanted to make more
of this type of animal, and have used Zephyr on several of our
does. We expect improved teat size, shape and placement,
and by using lines that are similar to the ones we are already
using, should continue consistency of strong type in the kids of
2007. Unfortunately, we lost Zephyr in early 2007.
It was very devastating, but we did get lots of beautiful kids
from him and we are very glad that we had him collected so that
we can continue to use him via AI in the future.

Frenzy is the
cutest, most adorable little LaMancha buck in the world (well,
at least he's a competitor!). His full sister Bad News
appraised EX92 (EEEE) as a 4 year old, and then again as an 8
year old! She won her class her class at
Nationals in both 2004 and 2005. She also has won Best In Show
honors, and milks quite respectably. One of the most dairy
of our does, balanced & correct, we decided we needed to
maybe go back to the lines that were making some of our more
beautiful young does and bring them back in closer. The Engeman family worked with us and created this beautiful AI
buckling who we so appreciate! He is also the last Gazette
son, while we were working on creating doe kids this year for
Ray & Dene, Gazette passed away. We'll all surely miss
that beautiful, productive individual........and gave us so many
gorgeous sons & daughters.
We're using Frenzy
to cross back on our Tiger & Watcher daughters for their
beautiful heads, strength and productivity.

This

hair! Wish we had gotten him clipped this year so it would

balanced kids out of him this year, but unfortunately they were

We were so honored
& appreciative that Laurie Acton made the decision to share Tach
Lach with us this past fall by leasing him to us. We bred
him to several of our does and can't wait to see them this
spring.
Tach has
accomplished a great deal in his life. He already has at least 6
permanent Champion daughters in multiple herds. Several of
his daughters have appraised EX90 and EX91. At the 2009
ADGA National Show in Sacramento one of his daughters SGCH Tempo
Evianna EX91 (EEEE) was just a yearling milker and practically
made ADGA history as she was named Reserve National Champion.
What we all thought was even greater is that she was Reserve to
her granddam SGCH Kastdemur's Evian 2008 & 2009 ADGA National
Champion - so cool! At that Nationals, not only did the
Tach's (& relatives) do well in their individual classes his
daughters were 1st place Senior Get AND he was named ADGA
National Show Premier Sire.

We waited for a doe kid out of Diva
forever....bred for one over and over and kept getting a single
buck...then a pair of bucks. Finally - we decided to breed her to keep a buck for
ourselves. She had
a doe and a buck (unfortunately the doe kid died)...BUT, we do
have Deviant. He’s Chamoise and white like his dam, and has the most beautiful
“do” on that gorgeous head - curls to die for! He’s reminiscent of
Diva - being very strong in general
appearance, correct throughout, level, wide, and strong.
Diva sons have consistently produced high scoring, competitive
daughters.
Deviant daughters include Kastdemur’s Twisted
Sister EX91 EEEE, 1st
place Intermediate Kid at the 2005 ADGA National Show;
Kastdemur’s Breaking News VG90 EVEV 3rd place Intermediate Kid &
4th pl. yrlg. milker at the 2006 National Show. At
the 2005 CA State fair, his daughters were Grand & Reserve
Jr. Champions, and his Jr. Get was 1st place. Kastdemur's Let's
Do The Twist VG85 +V+V was 1st pl. Intermediate kid & ADGA National
Jr. Champion at the 2006 Nationals. Daughter
GCH Kastdemur's Love Me Dew
who is owned by Trinity Smith, was 1st pl. Sr. Yearling and Jr.
Champion at the 2007 ADGA National Show, and more recently at
the 2010 ADGA Nationals was 2nd with 2nd udder 4 year old.
she has appraised EX91 (EEEE).
In 2008 Deviant's
daughters in the Jr. Kid class at the National Show, Bahama (2nd
pl. Jr. Kid), Mad About You (5th pl. Jr. Kid), and Versace (7th
pl. Jr. Kid) went together and placed 2nd place Jr. Get of
Sire. At the 2009 National Show his dry yearling
Kastdemur's Island of Fire won her Sr. Yearling class and was
named Reserve Natl Jr. Champion. In 2010 Mad About You
appraised EX90 with an Excellent mammary system, won her class
multiple times & earned 1 GCH leg.
Deviant daughters
in the High Tor Herd in Southern California have appraised 89-91
as two, three and four year olds.

It seems everyone
appreciates the strength of general appearance exhibited by this
young buck. He's really quite impressive - long and tall,
correct and beautiful appear everywhere in his pedigree.
There are does appraised EX91 & EX92 & even EX93 appear throughout his immediate
pedigree, they show well, they compete at the Nationals, they
milk well, they are steady.........We hadn't planned to keep
this buckling, had him preordered, but when that fell through we
just couldn't let him disappear.....we're so very glad that we
ended up with him.....Watchout! Sometimes things are just
"meant to be" Watcher is making quite a
statement as a young buck with his daughters winning their Jr.
Ch - dry legs relatively easily. His Jr. Get at the 2008
Nationals was 1st place - and they were also 1st place Jr. Get
at both Sonoma County Fair & CA State Fair. We've
heard about (or seen) three milking daughters that are very nice
as yearlings! In 2009 we freshened Bad Apple who did
very well in the show ring this year placing 3rd at the
Nationals. As a yearling milker she appraised VG89 (VEVE)
Not too bad at all! Another lovely daughter is Pepsi One
who has appraised EX90 (VEEE) in 2010 as a 2nd freshener. So
far, the one that seems to get the most attention is Avena who
appraised VG89 in 2010 as a Yearling Milker, produced almost
2800 lbs. of milk & finished her SGCH while winning her class
all 6 times shown this year.
Daughters of
Watcher that live in other herds include CH Kastdemur's Shasta
Daisy (Shasta daughter) & CH Kastdemur's Watch Tequila
(Pepsi daughter). Yet another outstanding daughter is
Kastdemur's Tongue Twister VG88 with two CH legs to her name.
You should expect
extreme size & scale in his offspring, length of bone &
strength of stature, levelness and length of back & rump in
his kids. This year we have continued to see more milking
daughters that have strong medials, outstanding teat placement,
and overall strength of udder attachment.

appearance and mammary system - who has placed quite well at
