Landslide is a beautiful young buck who had been out on lease in the early part of his life.  He returned to the herd at the end of 2008 and we only ended up with one doe bred to him.  Of course, we've found the kids to be oustanding!  LOL!  Landslide is extremely correct in structural soundness and general appearance.  He's a beautiful black & tan back that just appraised EX92 (EEE) in late September of 2009, which had E's in all structural categories except feet where he was a V!  Quite a feat for a buck and while in rut!  He's so well put together, has beautiful substance & dairiness, a strong masculine head that is deep & wide.   His dam was our very special girl SGCH Kastdemur's Slice 3*M EX93, who was the 2005 ADGA National Champion & Best Udder.  Slice didn't give us lots of daughters over the years, but the ones we had were very special.  Her sons have done wonderful things with each and every one of them producing beautiful, long tall, flat boned, open ribbed, angular and extremely correct daughters.  One of Slice's sons was Kastdemur's Sting who was the sire of some very beautiful daughters and a very exciting son - SG +*B Kastdemur's Tach Lach 2009 ADGA National Show Premier Sire.  Landslide's littermate brother is Kastdemur's Slice of Life the 2006 Spotlight Sale buckling who sold for $9100 to Jeanne Koploy.  We are thrilled to have his brother back at home, as we've been very impressed by the Slice of Life daughters in Jeanne's herd.

Landslide's first daughters freshened for us in 2011...and we are more than pleased!  They are some of our favorites...and in turn he was used quite heavily for 2012 kids!

Landslide's offspring continue to impress.  His 2 milking daughters in the area are both GCH, and the only daughter we retained of his in 2012 won her Jr Kid class at Nationals (Ventura).  We have retained two lovely doe kids to add to the herd this year, Silver Mist and Veracruz.  While he has been stingy with the daughters over the years, we are grateful for the ones we have as they are some of the favorites in the herd!

A HUGE thank you goes out to Jan Carlson for allowing this beautiful guy to re-join the herd!  He already has numerous beautiful daughters including the 1st place 4 year old Recorded Grade at the 2012 ADGA Nationals!

Vanu has been such an incredible producer of outstanding daughters, we can't wait to use another son in our herd.  And being out of Zephyr gives us something a little different to work with as well!  He will be put to good use this fall.

Veni is everything I had hoped for when we made the breeding of Vanu to Tach.  He's extremely tall, long bodied, long legged...and just down right pretty!   With the strength of his pedigree, I am extremely excited to see his first kids this year!

Veni is out on lease for the 2013-2014 breeding season.

Our Jr. Herdsire for 2013...Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful buck kid to retain.  Long bodied, sharp and dairy!  He's genetically 3/4 the same as what produced the very well known 2 time National Premier Sire, Tach Lach.  We can't wait to put him to work this fall!
