Sugar Sugar is as sweet as can be - and beautiful too! We were
so excited to see this pretty little doe freshen - and not
disappointed one bit! Our strongest placing yearling
milker throughout the year - Sugar was 1st place & 1st udder
in her class at our local show to start the year out. At
the 2008 Nationals, she became ill two nights before show day -
and we thought we would lose her. Thanks to the incredible
assistance of our friends, she was saved.....although it was
touch and go. We really didn't expect to be able to show
her, but when show day came - she acted pretty much as though
nothing happened! Although she wasn't at 100% yet, she
still placed 3rd in her class! At the Sonoma County Fair
& the CA State Fair she was 1st place/1st udder both
times! We're really proud of her persistence &
tenacity - and will to be "okay"!
Amazingly, she is also an Elite Dam in the 97th percentile of
the ADGA list.
We lost Sugar very unexpectedly this year just a few weeks after
kidding. She was special and will be greatly missed.
