Always is the very last
daughter from our
special 1999 ADGA National Champion & Best Uddered Nubian Finale. She was beautiful from the start, the tallest, longest, most
correct kid in our herd the year she was born. We couldn’t have been more proud when she went to the
top of her class at the ADGA National Show and was selected National
Reserve Junior Champion in 2005 at Spokane. She
then went on to be BJDIS at the highly competitive CA State Fair
that same year - something that doesn't always happen with our
slower maturing Nubian lines. Being one of the most
balanced of the Finale daughters overall, she exhibits grace and elegance, strength and
dairiness, and correctness throughout. Once Always
freshened as a yearling milker, we were truly impressed - and
excited, to tell you the truth, which is something we totally
try to contain when it comes to these Nubians of ours.....Then
she freshened again as a 2 yr. old - okay - take our breath
away......our Always finished her Championship at the
prestigious 2007 REDGA Show. Just a few days later she
appraised EX 92 (EEEE) as a two year old! Pretty
good start.....she's very reminiscent to us of her great granddam GCH
Brown Sugar's Chardonnay EX91....1st pl. Aged doe 1989 ADGA
National Show & Best Udder.
Always looked
incredible at the beginning of 2008 once again. We took
her to her first show of the year and she was BOB & BIS!
She also appraised EX92 once again as a 3 year old.
She had some problems with needing her teeth floated which
resulting in her having difficulty chewing her cud & using her
food properly as a result. In 2009 we thought we had it
all taken care of, but she continued to still
deal with some resulting ulcer problems that year. She's
still quite beautiful, but did have a shortened lactation in
2009 as we dried her up to let her get back into condition.
She's one of the largest does in our herd, had quads in 2010 and
looked a bit on the thin side for us in 2010. She's really
worth the wait, this doe is beautiful and has wonderful
offspring. Her daughter Love Always appraised VG87 as a
first freshener with a solid V mammary system and tremendous
strength & substance.
Her son by King of
the Hill - *B Kastdemur's Forevermore sold in the 2009 ADGA
Spotlight Sale in New York for $1900. He is an absolutely
beautiful young buckling & we thank Shari Reyna of Oregon for
purchasing him and bringing him back to the west coast! We've
heard rave reviews of her sons on the east coast producing
beautiful, productive, solid high appraising daughters as well.
We are extremely excited about her 2011 planned offspring by
Time in a Bottle - a tight linebreeding that should result in
long, tall, extremely correct and typy offspring.
Always is confirmed
bred this year and I can't wait to see her kids by Time!
