2003 ADGA National Jr. Champion - Audacity has
always had a
presence about her. She's one of the bigger does in the herd, and
has consistently placed at or near the top of her classes both locally
and nationally throughout the years. Her full sister Dharma
was one our absolute favorite all time animals - and Audacity resembles
her closely in general appearance, body type, size and mammary system.
Audacity’s dam Aubree was National Champion & Best Udder in 2001 and
Reserve National Champion & Best Udder in 2002, her grandmother
Finale was
National Champion & Best Udder in 1999, her 3/4
sister Finesse was 1st place yearling in 2003 then 1st pl. 2 yr.
Old in 2004 at the Nationals. Audacity
freshened with the mammary system we had hoped for - and although a
little off balance because of her precocious udder as a yearling - she
won her class several times. As
the years have progressed she has continued to develop into a beautifully
balanced doe, and that mammary system keeps getting better. In
2005, she went out and finished her GCH early on, and produced around 13
lbs. a day out of that beautiful udder. Audacity placed 4th place 3 yr. old at
the 2005 Nationals, right behind another Full Service daughter GCH
Kastdemur’s Santa Cruz, owned by Sara Koehn-Walberg who went on to win
her class at Nationals the following year in 2006 at Indiana. Audacity appraised EX91 (EEEE) in September 2005,
and then EX91 (EVEE) as a 5 year old, reflecting her
overall balance, correctness & strength of mammary system. In 2006 she was 1st
place 4 yr. old at the CA State Fair making it the fourth consecutive
year she had topped her class at this very competitive fair. We kept her single 2006 buck kid sired by ++*B Kastdemur's Crown Excess
as one of our Jr. Herdsires. Her daughter SGCH Kastdemur's
Temerity 5*M EX93 (EEEE) has proven that this line is reproductive genetically
in showring wins, appraisal scores & production records and
was just recently named 2008 ADGA National Champion Nubian!!!! Audacity has certainly proven her place in our herd in her own record of
achievement as well as those of her offspring. We plan to repeat
the breeding that produced Temerity this year.
We unfortunately lost Audacity this year after kidding.
