Faxsimile is a beautiful doe – very correct,
clean, sharp shouldered, and level.....and, of course, has that Finale
Face! You can see her
immediately when you walk out to the barn and identify her as a member
of that family. She’s
developing at about the very same rate as Finale did as a young
doe......Fax has a beautiful mammary system, is very correct throughout,
but needs some depth & width....which she is now starting to put
together (typical of her dam!). She’s quite beautiful, as you can see in her picture, and
probably looks the most like Finale did as a youngster of any of her
offspring. Fax has a very
steady lactation – with almost no “curve”.....as a first freshener
she started at
about 9.0 lbs., and finished her lactation at about 7.0 lbs.....steady
steady steady......She is however, to put it mildly, a bit
“neurotic” personality wise (which is NOT typical of our goats!), and
hasn’t learned to relax at the shows as yet......but we keep bringing
her along for the ride (she WILL learn to like it!). We did get
her to a couple of shows this year and she earned one GCH and 1 ResGCH
so we know she CAN do it! Her daughter She's
So Fine, by Full Service, was 2nd place Jr. Kid at
the 2005 National Show, at the CA State Fair, & Sonoma County
Fair and has placed well as a dry yearling too, and doesn’t exhibit any of the neurosis of her
dam...thank goodness!
