Heaven is such a special
baby being the last daughter to our beloved UpYours.
Heaven had a rough start to her life, but quickly turned around
and is developing nicely. She's another long, tall, gangly
Stingray kid...and has all the parts to be an amazing milker...just
needs to gain the depth which will come with maturity!
Heaven may be bred this fall.
Heaven, unfortunately, got hit by
another doe and aborted her pregnancy about a month early.
But, that hasn't stopped her from coming into a very respectable
amount of milk with her first test being 6.4...not too bad if
you ask me! Heaven freshened with a lovely mammary
that is extremely well attached, high and wide into the rear and
a nice fore as well. It greatly resembles her dam's udder!
I was so bummed about her aborting, but seeing how much she is
developing and coming into milk has me excited. Stingray
seems to be adding milk to his daughters...just what I wanted.
Heaven looks very similar to her dam at the same age, but with
the added milk. She's a very elegant doe...and one that
will be fun to watch develop!
Heaven is also my spoiled pet of a
goat....she loves me and seeks me out everytime I am in the
barn. She waits for hugs before she leaves the parlor, and
stands and watches me milk by the exit gate. She knows
she's my girl and holds a special place in my heart!
Heaven sat at home for the 2016 show season as she ended up
milking thru after a false pregnancy. She has grown into a
large doe and we are excited to see her fresh as a 3 year old
next year!
