Aquarelle is a LONG awaited doe kid from Aquafina! She is so correct and stylish, and super flashy to boot! She has beautiful silky skin and is extremely open ribbed and angular throughout. She is wide and open in the escutcheon and I cannot wait to see her freshen! Unfortunately, Aquarelle decided to be a dry yearling so we have to wait until 2017 to see her fresh...but she is still as lovely as she was as a kid.
Aquarelle freshened very nicely for us this year. Unfortunately she had packed on a few extra pounds as a dry yearling last year and isn't milking quite enough to get into show shape this year. We're hoping with another freshening she will really come into herself and add some capacity to that beautiful udder! Even though she didn't milk enough this year, she has held her own and is having a long steady lactation. She maintains her very correct general appearance and is especially strong in her feet and legs. Her mammary has a very pleasing shape with good teat placement and a strong medial. If she comes into the milk I expect and loses some of her baby fat, she should be exciting as a second freshener!
Aquarelle is looking lovely as a second freshener. She has spent the year losing the extra weight she had packed on. She has nearly doubled her production (as expected) and her mammary is absolutely beautiful! We are really looking forward to seeing her next year as a 4 year old as it should be her year to shine.
