We are incredibly proud to have this beautiful doe own us!  And....she does own us, believe me!  She insists on full body rubs each time she gets off the milking stand (my fault!)!  Evian appraised EX94 (EEEE) as a 5 year old for the 2nd time, making that her permanent appraisal score.  To the best of our knowledge, she is the only doe that has been appraised that high two times, and consecutively at that.  And, the only LaMancha to have reached that score.

Her production records are real.  Look at the ring picture below of the full bucket (that's not one of those itty bitty ones either!) beneath her as Krista milks her at the 2009 ADGA National Show during the Best Udder selection.  As a yearling she milked over 2600 lbs., and her next 4 lactations have been from 3190 to 3970....She did make #5 on the 2007 ADGA Top Ten Production list, and won the Lifetime Production Award for LaManchas at the 2008 ADGA National Show.  In 2009 in addition to winning Best Udder, she also was the LaMancha Total Performer at both the ADGA National Show and at the California State Fair.  On the 2009 Top Ten Production list she was #6!

She's a trooper in the show ring as well - winning her class at the ADGA Nationals in 2006 as a 2 year old and was named Reserve National Champion.  In 2008, she was 1st place 4 year old & was named ADGA National Champion & Reserve Best Udder.  At the Sonoma County Fair she was GCH & Best Udder, and followed at the California State Fair that year winning GCH, Best Udder & Supreme Champion overall in incredible competition.  In 2009, she was 1st place 5 & 6 year old and won ADGA National Champion & Best Udder.  At the Sonoma County Fair following that, she was GCH & Best Udder in Show.  At the 2009 California State Fair she won GCH LaMancha, Supreme Udder & Supreme Champion up against amazing competition.  In 2010 she was only shown twice at our local fairs - and was GCH & Best Udder & Best In Show as well as Total Performer at the CA State Fair.  At the Sonoma County Fair she was GCH & Best Udder & Best In Show again - both times against incredible competition including multiple National Champions in the lineup!

A team player too, she was a member of our 1st place Best 3 Females at Nationals in both 2008 & 2009 and our 1st place Dairy Herd in 2009. Along with her daughter Aquafina was 1st place Dam & Daughter in both 2008 & 2009, and was also a member of the first place Produce of Dam with her older sister Survivor in 2008.   Add on to that and see what her son Tach Lach (owned by Laurie Acton) has done in the past couple of years - sired the 1st place 2 year old at the 2008 ADGA National Show, and in 2009 sired the 1st place Yearling Milker & Reserve National Champion Evianna, in addition to numerous other animals placing in the top 5 of their age classes.  He also had 1st place Sr. Get & was named 2009 ADGA National Show Premier Sire!  Evian's youngest daughter Avena finished her GCH as a yearling milker joining her other progeny in achieving high honors.

Evian is an extremely correct doe structurally, incredibly dairy, clean boned & angular, with a beautiful mammary system that is high and wide and long and smooth in the fore and milks down so very well.  Okay - so she has big teats too.....we'd like to change that, but will live with 'em with all the rest of the good stuff she has!  She's got a great temperament, very smart, easy to work with, but she's surely no sissy!  Yeah, she's one of those bossy girls (as are most of the Sprite daughters).  What several judges & appraisers have said  that what impresses them is the way that she moves - her mobility & carriage are something  that sets her apart.

This doe has consistently been a performer in all areas - production, appraisal, and the show ring.  Now her daughters & sons are coming along and giving us a vision of the future.
