Aquilline is the last kid from our special Aquafina and we could not be more pleased with how she has turned out.  She was a fancy kid with all the structural strengths we love to see and then freshened this spring with a lovely mammary!  It's beautiful in its shape, small perfectly placed teats and lots of capacity too! 

Aquilline took her time to come together this spring after kidding.  She had all the right parts, just needed to put them together and balance her production and body.  The longer she's been in milk the deeper she has gotten, and her mammary looks even more lovely every time we show her!  She finished the show season being undefeated.  She was first in her class at all three fairs she was shown at, she earned a milking GCH leg, and was a member of our winning dairy herd at the Washington State Fair!  We are so pleased with this young doe and can't wait to see her as a second freshener!

Aquilline is milking extremely well as a second freshener.  So well that she hasn't been shown yet this year as she's working a bit hard to keep herself in show condition.  She has grown a lot in the last year as well has gaining some depth.  We love the style of this doe and her mammary is still just as beautiful as it was as a yearling.

Aquilline sustained an injury to her rear leg, so this has likely ended her show career.  We just love everything about this doe and feel that had it not been for the injury she would be one of our top show does.  She has had some of our nicest kids born every year, and will remain in the herd as a valuable brood doe.
