Tang was our unexpected keeper kid of last year...and we are not disappointed that she stayed! She is an extremely large, powerful yearling, yet maintaining her dairiness. She only freshened with a single kid, so it took a little time for her mammary to match the size of her frame and body. But she matured just as expected and continues to milk very steady as we go into fall (a trait that I just love...does that look better in October than they did in June! Her mammary is extremely well attached, good teat placement, nice fore, strong medial. She is the style we love, being so long, tall and dairy with a wonderful easy going temperament. Yeah...we kinda really like this one!
Tang is a doe after my heart. This doe knows her job and "shows up" every day without fail. Nothing phases her, she just takes everything in stride. She has grown into such a large framed, structurally sound doe, that oozes dairy strength. She is a top producer in the parlor with her most recent test at 14.2 lbs and projected for over 3,000 lbs this year!
