Lanai was the result of a difficult kidding in which we lost her dam, Riviera. Lanai herself looks so much like her dam in color and style. She is extremely long bodied, level and wide in the escutcheon. We are so glad to have this last Riviera daughter. She will likely be slower to mature, as all the Riviera offspring have been., but we don't mind waiting! Lanai has continued to grow and mature into a very fancy, stylish, correct dry yearling.
Lanai has been a slower maturing doe, taking her time to fill out and grow into herself. She freshened with a beautiful mammary that is very reminiscint of all her paternal sisters. She has been extremely consistent in her milk all year long and still holding very well now into fall. This is a doe we are extremely excited to see with a second freshening!
