Vera was another highly anticipated baby!
I don't usually keep kids out of first fresheners, but when your dam
is Venezuela you make an exception. Vera has had her awkward
moments this year, but is really coming into her own this fall.
She is a 3/4 sister to our beautiful Toca....and another doe I can't
want to see mature!
Vera has freshened meeting and exceeding all our expectations.
She has a beautiful, high and wide rear udder that blends
smoothly up into her escutcheon. It shows good balance in
side profile with tons of lateral attachement. On top of
that she excels in the milk room already milking 10 lbs a day as
a first freshener. Vera has really blossomed as a first
freshener...she has a beautiful frame and is extremely sharp at
the withers and clean boned throughout. Very pleased with
this young doe!
Vera finished her championship quite
easily this year as a 2 year old first freshener, and then went
on to Nationals to look even better and place 1st/1st udder 2
year old!
Vera has matured into a large capacious doe in both body and
mammary. She is a beautifully angular, and clean boned doe
with incredible depth of body. And one of the most
impressive things about her is her extremely wide and high rear
udder...it sure does turn heads! And that rear udder scored her
a 40 in arch and 44 in height! Vera is my girl and she
knows it....she loves to get extra scratches in the barn
whenever I'm in there.
