As wonderful as it was that Finale became National Champion in 1999, we feel her greater value comes in the offspring she has given us. Daughter Aubree was 2001 National Champion/Best Udder and 2002 Reserve National Champion/Best Udder. Finale and Aubree paired up to be 1st in the Dam & Daughter Class at the ADGA Nationals in 1999 & 2001. Another daughter Finesse was 1st pl/1st udder Yearling Milker at the 2003 National Show, where Aubree stood 2nd pl/2nd udder in the 5&6-year-old class. The two paired up to be placed 2nd in Produce of Dam at that show. Finesse was 1st pl/2nd udder 2-year-old at the 2004 National Show.

Finale’s mammary system maintains its correctness of shape, support and teat size and placement as she enters her 9th year. Her appraisal at 7 years of age gave her the EX91 (EEVE). Finale was slow maturing – long and tall, yet correct, but lacking in body capacity (just like the rest of the Ambassadors) until she turned 3 years of age. She appraised VG89 (VVEE) that year and became National Champion. Her sons are doing strong jobs in several herds across the country producing quality, highly competitive Nubians. We were fortunate to be able to return her son *B Kastdemur’s Oh Dan (littermate to Aubree) to our herd back in 2001. In 2004 we kept one of her buck kids by +*B Kastdemur’s At Your Service as one of our Jr. Herdsires.

Our contention is that Nubians can and do reproduce their quality genetics, and Finale is proof that this is possible.
