We kind of like our “Baby Dew” girl...She was a first freshening two year old in 2004 - she had been the smallest of that set of triplet Sprite girls...so we kept her dry as a yearling. When we saw the development of this excellent mammary system...and her development and maturity, we have to say our “baby” was...well, fairly impressive! It was exciting to take her to the National Show in 2004 and have her become 1st in her class and also become ADGA Reserve National Champion...and have so many other breeders admire her. She loved the attention, we loved having so many people appreciate her as we do, making so many wonderful comments as she walked around the ring.

Unfortunately, Baby Dew ended up having some type of crystals in one of her teats, and became uneven, and milking was extremely painful for her. We’ve worked hard at fixing that problem, but it has plagued her through the years.   She has appraised EX91 as both a 3, 4 & 6 year old, so our faith in her correctness & balance is not out of order!     Her daughter Dew Drop Inn was second place Int. Kid at the Nationals in 2005, and earned a GCH leg as a yearling milker.   Her other daughter Dew U Dare finished her Championship this year for owner Tammy Tullar.  Another beautiful daughter Kastdemur's Love Me Dew, owned by Trinity Smith was 1st pl. Sr. Yearling & 2007 ADGA National Junior Champion, has freshened with a beautiful udder and has been 1st & Res. CH in 2008.  Her 2007 daughter DewbeDewbeDew earned her dry leg early this year, and was 2nd pl. Sr. Yearling at the 2008 ADGA National Show.

Mountain Dew has obviously produced several beautiful daughters, and we feel really proud of the fact she is passing on her structural correctness & beautiful mammary system to them.
