Lucy in the Sky was
a beautiful kid that grew into an even more beautiful milker. A granddaughter of Kalila 2005 ADGA National
Champion crossed with the lovely LaLinda from Wingwood Farms, we
expected Lucy in the Sky to fulfill our expectations. She
has continued to grow & mature through the last couple of
years, is well balanced, smooth blending, level, and strong on
her feet & legs. Lucy freshened with an extremely well
attached mammary system that is very high and wide especially in
rear udder. She could use more fore udder extension, but
it is snugly attached. Our feeling is that it will extend
as she gets another lactation under her belt with more maturity.
Lucy won her class
4 times, 2x2nd, 4 x 3rd as a first freshening two year old and
placed Reserve GCH 3 times in tough competition.
She's a huge doe, almost massive I suppose! It will be
very interesting to see her fresh again a 2nd time in 2011.
Lucy aborted
quintuplets in 2011 so spent the year dry and in a diet pen!
She is now confirmed bred for early March kids. We can't
wait to see what 2012 brings for her!
