This “little” girl was one of those plain Janes as a baby....no one ever really noticed her....just blended in with the herd. She’s got some fairly exciting relatives though - mom being a National Champion - older sister being a National Champion. Finesse was 1st/1st udder yearling milker at the 2003 National Show, and then won her National Show class again as a two year old in 2004. Finesse has blossomed as a milking doe, she’s large and powerful as are most of the Full Service offspring - and has a beautiful, well attached, soft, pliable, and very correct mammary system. She appraised VG88 (VVVV) as a yearling before she had even pulled this all together. As a two year old she appraised EX90 (EVEE). She still has her baby face - and probably always will (it’s sort of a Full Service trait), but Finesse keeps growing every day - and is maturing into a lovely animal. If you look at the tape of the 2004 National Show, you’ll see that Finesse was probably the tallest, largest doe in that lineup last year. In 2005, she was probably hit by another doe, and she ended up having dead doe kids that we had to have the vet out to help with about two weeks prior to their due date. They were sired A.I. by Ambassador...so a big loss for us. We were able to get this powerful doe milking about 10 lbs. a day after a while, but decided to dry her up, as 10 lbs. a day on a doe this big just doesn’t do it.  This is a tough luck girl, and it looks as though we don't have her bred to freshen in 2007.....we will keep trying and are not giving up on getting this girl back into full function.
