If anyone hasn't
paid attention to Lucy, they are missing the boat as far as we
are concerned. She's very correct in every area of the
scorecard, as evidenced in her appraisal scores........very
level, structurally sound, and has an udder that is well
attached smoothly & strongly all the way around, with
really nice teats & teat placement. She
freshened looking absolutely wonderful in 2008, with her udder
doubling in size over the previous year.
Unfortunately Lucy came down with a mastitis issue early in
her lactation this year, so although she was appraised, we
were unable to show her. We kept her milking most of the
year, and will be breeding her back early for 2009 kids.
Her
dam was the 2005 ADGA National Champion and her sire has been
Premier Sire numerous times, she's a bit slow maturing, but
well worth the wait as far as we're concerned......You'll be
seeing her in the future.....believe us..
