Mist is such a sweet baby!
So pleased to have another Landslide daughter to add to the herd
and the added bonus is she's WHITE! This kid has a
gorgeous, high, wide escutcheon with room for a future beautiful
mammary.
Mist is another very nice yearling milker. She looks very
similar to her dam at the same age. She has a nicely
shaped and correct mammary with small pretty teats. In
addition, she stands on a very strong set of feet and legs, has
her mother's long level topline and a very nice front end with
nice extention of brisket. Mist had only a single kid this
year, so I'm excited to see her as a 2nd freshener in 2015!
Mist has developed into an impressive 2 year old, turning
lots of heads at the shows! She's deepened and matured and
gained the udder capacity she needed. She was also 6th
place 2 year old at Nationals coming out of a huge class of 44
entries!
Mist apparently reabsorbed her pregnancy
this past spring, so sat the show season out. She is bred
to kid early October and is looking quite huge! We do plan
to rebreed her to kid in the spring again as well so she will be
back on track.
